God’s Plan of Salvation
God loves you so much, that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for your sins.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
We are all sinners, for this reason we need the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23)
As a result of our sinful nature, we deserve to die physically and spiritually. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
We will all die physically
Spiritual death is a second death
“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.” (Revelation 20:14)
God wants no one to perish in hell. “The Lord is not… willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)
God does not want you to die
Jesus Christ has done it all for us.
“3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
Jesus is the only way to reach God
Jesus Christ is the only one that can save and give us eternal life. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)
God loves you and He will accept you as you are. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
God’s love will save you where you are
God gives what we don’t deserve
A person could never be saved by anything good that we might do, it is only by God’s grace that we can be saved. “8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Step 3 – Personally Receive Jesus Christ the Lord
If you personally receive the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, He will make you His child.
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” (John 1:12)
Call upon the Lord now and He will save you. “9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:9-10,13)
Ask God and receive His gift
He wants to rescue you now
If you would sincerely like to become a child of God, just tell it directly to God wherever you find yourself right now. Say something like this to God:
“Heavenly Father, I know that I’m guilty and that I have offended you with my sinful actions and thoughts. I ask for your forgiveness and salvation. With an open heart I now receive you Jesus to be my Lord and Savior, AMEN.”
